Today Crystal was admitted to the hospital at around 2:30 am. Needless to say, this picture is pre-heavy labor.

Ella Marie Henkel
Just barely after birth, feeling pretty confused about this new world!

This was shortly after the birth, she was very peaceful for a newbie.

Her poor little nose was a little smashed from the birth, but by the hand position you can tell she is planning her next move.

Grandma Lamb, she was so excited!

This is right after birth, Ella was an 8lb 1oz and 19 3/4 inch long bombshell! She is angry like a badger right now.

That is pretty dang cool! Cute baby considering we all know most babies are pretty ugly. Thanks for letting me know Chad, even if we're down in Fresno, California. Good work Crystal, looks like a very pretty girl. Thanks again. See you two when we're back up at school. Paul Kartchner
Congradulations Crystal and Chad!
Well, the news have now gone world-wide, we are in awe here in DK and UK - you guys make'em cute. I guess now is not the time to say keep up the good work, so we'll save that for after your recovery.
It was exciting to see the pictures of Ella - and of you all, good-looking family. We have yet to meet Chad, but he sure looks committed to parenting after a long night at the hospital. Here in the outer darkness of visual contact we barely knew what you all looked like by now. We are grateful that everything went well with the birth and you seem very well.
When Jennifer had Clara we suggested that she now might have the chance to experience someone like herself, - from a mothers point of view. She now frequently confirms the possibilities in that thought. Welcome to being parents, it's great fun.

CONGRATULATIONS:
You two did a great job. Good luck with this new little one. Its easy to see how much love our heavenly Father has for us. Take care you three. Love you all. John Reed
