Another great thing about being home is the fact that Ella is now sleeping a lot better. She has actually slept throughout the entire night from 8pm to about 7am 3 nights in a row...truly a miracle for her! I think that is one of the hardest things about leaving is that her schedule gets all thrown off and she's not used to sleeping in her little portable crib and we have in her in the same room as us so she wakes up like every couple of hours just wanting me to hold her! It was definitely rough being sleep deprived but it was worth it to get to see our families.
We went to Kemmerer, WY first and spent Christmas with them.
One of the days we were there with Chad's family we went tubing. It was a blast but we could only endure it so long due to the fact that we had to climb up the huge steep hill each time we went down.

In the car on the ride over.

Me and Didi, Chad's sister.

Me and the chadder-bud.
While we were there Chad's dad was called into work earlier than we had expected so unfortunately he was going to miss Christmas. In order to get the most out of the little time we had left with him we had our own "Christmas" a few days earlier so that we could have it with him.

Christmas morning getting excited to open our gifts.

Grandma and Ella in the early morning.

My excited Christmas face!

Grandpa Don being Santa and handing out all the gifts.

Dallon's super excited face!

Jason and Didi looking bright and cheery at that early hour.
Another night we went out caroling to some of the Henkel's friends and so we bundled Ella up and at first she wasn't too happy about it.

Isn't that just the saddest face you've ever seen?

Then she became a little more happy as she got used to being all bundled up.

On our way out the door to go out in the freezing cold to go caroling.
One of our Christmas presents we got from Don were these matching sweatshirts that had our names on the back of them. They were so cool and such a thoughtful gift as he had to fund raise to get each one of them.

Chadder doing his really serious face.

Ella and her Uncle Dallon

She was having a good time with him doing her scunchy face smile.

Grandma Gigi and Ella on Christmas day.
Next we went to Boise to visit my family and we had our 2nd Christmas with the Lamb family.

Ella in her new Christmas beanie and gloves with her Uncle Tyler.

When we put the clothes on her she kept doing this hilarious tongue thing where she would curl her upper lip under and stick out her tongue. She is always being such a little performer.

Ella and I posing next the the Christmas tree as she was eating one of the ornaments.

When we helped Ella unwrap her baby cell phone she was obviously pretty awestruck with excitement!

Ella has started this new thing with certain people where she bites on people's noses. It is so hilarious when she does it! As you can see she took a particular liking to Tyler's nose while we were there.

Ella and daddy on Sunday after church.
Overall we had such a blast with our families and were glad to have been able to get to spend time with both of them for the holidays!
