Ella's Blessing Day (June 3, 2007)

We blessed Ella in a completely new ward in Draper, Utah where we are living for the summer, luckily we were able to have our family and some friends come down for the event. There were three other blessings of baby girls that day so the church was packed and all the blessings ended up taking up pretty much all of sacrament! After the blessing we went to a little park next to our apartment for a little luncheon.




Ella was zonked out for her whole blessing and for awhile after which made things much easier for Chad while he blessed her.



She was so cute in her frilly blessing dress!



She finally started to wake up...

Little Ella Bear

Ella is getting bigger day by day!
At her 2 month check-up she weighed 12 lbs. 3 oz. and was 22.8 inches long. She is in th 79th percentile for her weight and the 70th for her length, so she is nice and proportionate!



She keeps us laughing with how much she jabbers and smiles now!



Whenever a camera comes out she stops doing her cute smiles to just stare at the device with bewilderment.



So it is definitely a feat to catch her smile on camera before she notices whats going on!



I guess she was a little hungry and Chad's finger looked pretty tasty!

Diana and Jason's Wedding (April 21, 2007)

Diana (Chad's sister) and Jason's wedding at the Idaho Falls Temple. Ella was only 10 days old.













Her headband was too big for her head and now looking back at these pictures looked pretty funny on her head! :)

Ella's a month old now!

Our little Ella Marie is a month old now! She has started to interact with us more and keeps us constantly amused with the funny faces that she makes!





























































About 90% of Ella's pictures turn out with her eyes all big like deer in the headlights...i think its because of how much she likes that flash!

We got this little baby carrier that so far Ella isn't too fond of but after fussing for awhile she settled down and fell asleep. We didn't want to wake her up so we just laid her down with it still on her!
















So sleepy...



Trying to hold herself up, Ella has had a really strong neck since the day she was born, she is always trying to show off.



We took Ella to her first baseball game to see the Salt Lake Bees! She actually really enjoyed it, she loved all the lights and the music.
