The Fourth of July

We went to a park in Riverton, UT to see the fireworks for this 4th of July!



Surprisingly enough Ella liked the fireworks! She seemed kinda mesmerized by them.

At Grandma & Grandpa Henkel's house

A few weeks ago we went to Kemmerer, WY to visit our Henkel family and to see Gigi's 4th of July town choir performance she organized and conducted. It was really fun to see all of the Henkel side plus some of the Lamb side came down too so it was a big ol' get together! (Here's a pic of some of the gang!)





Ella was pretty worn out after the long weekend at her Grandparents!

Ella was being really fussy one night and didn't want to be consoled by anyone but Grandpa Henkel took her and bounced her around for awhile and she finally calmed down and just snuggled in on his shoulder... it was so cute!

Ella's Kiddie Kandids Experience

We went to Kiddie Kandids a few weeks ago to get some birth announcement pictures taken.

Visiting Grandpa & Grandma Lamb's House

Ella and I went to visit my family for a week up in Eagle, Idaho. We had a good time, Ella had a lot of eager little hands to hold her and it was a nice break for mommy!

Ella is a pretty happy baby, she loves to smile and just recently she started laughing. We love playing with her and hearing her mimic us with her little baby chatter.

Your eyes are not deceiving you...poop has defied gravity and come out the top of her diaper on both the front and the back of her!

Ella's Blessing Day (June 3, 2007)

We blessed Ella in a completely new ward in Draper, Utah where we are living for the summer, luckily we were able to have our family and some friends come down for the event. There were three other blessings of baby girls that day so the church was packed and all the blessings ended up taking up pretty much all of sacrament! After the blessing we went to a little park next to our apartment for a little luncheon.




Ella was zonked out for her whole blessing and for awhile after which made things much easier for Chad while he blessed her.



She was so cute in her frilly blessing dress!

Little Ella Bear

Ella is getting bigger day by day!
At her 2 month check-up she weighed 12 lbs. 3 oz. and was 22.8 inches long. She is in th 79th percentile for her weight and the 70th for her length, so she is nice and proportionate!



She keeps us laughing with how much she jabbers and smiles now!



Whenever a camera comes out she stops doing her cute smiles to just stare at the device with bewilderment.



So it is definitely a feat to catch her smile on camera before she notices whats going on!



I guess she was a little hungry and Chad's finger looked pretty tasty!
