It's my party...

On Tues I had my 26th birthday...yea I'm getting old :) I had a really fun night though! First we went out to eat at Craigo's Pizza Place as a fam and ate till we were about ready to pop! It was great!

My little buddy in his "big boy" car seat on the ride over! It was his first time in the forward facing car seat instead of an infant seat and he thought he was so cool!

My little princess, gotta love that girl!

Jack LOVED pigging out on the pizza that night!

I just loved all of Ella's different expressions in these pictures!

Yep he's still going :)...

Then my sister came over and watched my kids for us and Chad and I went miniature golfing!

The most awesome part of it was we both got a hole in one back-to-back and it was a Par 4 too! It was crazy!

And then after our Pro-mini-golfing we went to a movie. It was a great day! My kids were sweet, Ella especially was such a cutie all day. Every so often she would just bust out into song and sing"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Momma, Happy birthday to you" It was so adorable. Jack was his usual messy snuggly self which is always fun. And my hubby was a sweet heart as usual! What else could one ask for? I dare say not much else! :) Love my family!

Jack's 1st Birthday

Our little buddy had his first b-day on Jan 15th, 2010!
It was quite the riot and we even got to have Chad's parents and his sister's family join us for Jack's little party, which made it even better! We had a lot of fun playing, dancing and watching the kids get quite covered in frosting!

Jack and Papa Henkel.

The Chadder-Dadder.

The Cazmanian Devil as her Father so lovingly calls her! Doing her "Oh" face. It's so cute.

Our lovely Aunt Didi (Chad's sister)

The excited little birthday boy!

Ella was buddying up with Uncle Jason that night.

Our most beautiful Grandma Gigi!

Jack and Caz always get really excited to see each other and give each other loves. It's so adorable!

Uh-oh kissing cousins! HA ha J/k

Loving his life on Papa's shoulders.

I got a free "smash" cake from Albertsons for Jack to just have at it. And then I made a cupcake caterpillar cake for everyone else to eat.

Ella loved this cake, I don't think Jack could have cared less but El was super excited about it, which made it fun and worth making it!

Taking the first taste!

Waiting patiently for his cake...

Barely touching it...

Finally I had to push his hand into his mouth so that he would finally take a taste and once he did...

He was hooked!

Such a happy little Smurf boy!

But then he started to get sick of having so much frosting all over his hands and he was ready to be out of his highchair! He started making hilarious annoyed faces so of course I had to exploit it and take lots of pictures. :) I'm such a mean mom!

Look at those Sponge-bob front teeth! They are so funny! Good thing they'll start to come together once his other teeth come in. :)

He was waving his hands back and forth trying to get the frosting off...which made for quite the mess on the ground!

It was finally time for a bath!

And this was how Daddy sent him out! Ha ha, who doesn't love baby buns though! So cute!

Grandma Gigi brought each of the kids some balloons and they were a hit! Frankly the kids could have cared less about the toys he was given the balloons were the prized possessions! That's kids for ya!

They were even a hit for the big kids...Chad thought it would be a good idea to box the kids in the head as they came up to try to take the balloons back from him...they did not seem to feel the same way. As you can see he got a kick out of it though!

The moment before the impact!

All in all we had a blast and my sweet little baby is no longer a baby anymore he is definitely moving fast into toddlerhood! So bittersweet! Love that little boy so much and I am so thankful that he is a part of our family! He brings us so much joy and laughter, I can't imagine life without him! Love you my little Jack-Jack!

A couple of weeks ago Ella and I went outside for an adventure in the snow! While I froze my buns off she had an absolutely awesome time. I swear she couldn't even feel how cold it was! She was totally into digging, throwing, eating and pretty much anything else you could think to do with snow! I finally had to force her to go inside because her face was becoming quite red and I was about done with freezing myself! She still wanted to play though. I felt bad cause I know she misses playing outdoors but its just been so cold that I would rather keep her inside. So to keep her entertained once in awhile we drive to the "indoor park" at Arctic Circle and play there so she can at least get a little bit of the stuck-at-home jitters out! Gotta love Rexburg! :)

Of course we couldn't have our snow adventure without Tinkerbell. I think she enjoyed her snow bath. :)

So as I wrote about in a previous post that Jack had been sick...well when we got back from all the Christmas time travel Jack came down with a high fever again and so we took him back in to the doctor because this "cold" or whatever it was had been lingering for too long! Anywho they gave me a different type of antibiotic since he had had that weird reaction to the Amoxicillin and then he came down with this!....this crazy rash that was practically all over his body. I automatically thought it was a reaction to the new antibiotic but sure enough when we went back to the doc they said it was a VIRAL rash which means all the antibiotics we had given him were pretty much useless! Any ways it looks worse than it was he didn't seem to mind that the bumps were all over him, it was just crazy looking. And thank goodness it went away about 3 days later.

The new way to eat with a spoon.

While I was taking pics of Jack's rash Ella was being her normal crazy self but with the added safety goggles so of course I had to take some pictures of that as well. :)
