Our little buddy had his first b-day on Jan 15th, 2010!
It was quite the riot and we even got to have Chad's parents and his sister's family join us for Jack's little party, which made it even better! We had a lot of fun playing, dancing and watching the kids get quite covered in frosting!

Jack and Papa Henkel.

The Chadder-Dadder.

The Cazmanian Devil as her Father so lovingly calls her! Doing her "Oh" face. It's so cute.

Our lovely Aunt Didi (Chad's sister)

The excited little birthday boy!

Ella was buddying up with Uncle Jason that night.

Our most beautiful Grandma Gigi!

Jack and Caz always get really excited to see each other and give each other loves. It's so adorable!

Uh-oh kissing cousins! HA ha J/k

Loving his life on Papa's shoulders.

I got a free "smash" cake from Albertsons for Jack to just have at it. And then I made a cupcake caterpillar cake for everyone else to eat.

Ella loved this cake, I don't think Jack could have cared less but El was super excited about it, which made it fun and worth making it!

Taking the first taste!

Waiting patiently for his cake...

Barely touching it...

Finally I had to push his hand into his mouth so that he would finally take a taste and once he did...

He was hooked!

Such a happy little Smurf boy!

But then he started to get sick of having so much frosting all over his hands and he was ready to be out of his highchair! He started making hilarious annoyed faces so of course I had to exploit it and take lots of pictures. :) I'm such a mean mom!

Look at those Sponge-bob front teeth! They are so funny! Good thing they'll start to come together once his other teeth come in. :)

He was waving his hands back and forth trying to get the frosting off...which made for quite the mess on the ground!

It was finally time for a bath!

And this was how Daddy sent him out! Ha ha, who doesn't love baby buns though! So cute!

Grandma Gigi brought each of the kids some balloons and they were a hit! Frankly the kids could have cared less about the toys he was given the balloons were the prized possessions! That's kids for ya!

They were even a hit for the big kids...Chad thought it would be a good idea to box the kids in the head as they came up to try to take the balloons back from him...they did not seem to feel the same way. As you can see he got a kick out of it though!

The moment before the impact!
All in all we had a blast and my sweet little baby is no longer a baby anymore he is definitely moving fast into toddlerhood! So bittersweet! Love that little boy so much and I am so thankful that he is a part of our family! He brings us so much joy and laughter, I can't imagine life without him! Love you my little Jack-Jack!
