Just an FYI...

For all those who are checking in on our blog, scroll down for awhile cause I was super proactive and did three new blog posts! Yes yes they are about past events that happened at least 2 months ago but still it is quite the accomplishment for my slacker self!

I just thought this was a cute video of my tiny dancers. They are so cute when they get along. You gotta relish in those moments though they may only come once in a blue moon. :)

The Birthday Bud!

My sweet hubby, Chadder-bud celebrated his 29th b-day Dec. 26th while we were still in Boise. His birthday happened to be on a Sunday so we did not go anywhere but we did do some in home par-teying of sorts. We decorated the house while he took a nice long nap and when he woke up we had a scrumdiliumptious baby-back rib dinner! Yum. Then I made him some mini-cheesecakes and some regular cake as well so he could have the best of both worlds. From what I could tell it was good times had by all.

Ella didn't want to leave the sight of the treats, i don't know anyone more eager to partake.

Then of course we did a little present opening. He's such a cutie!

Happy Birthday bff. I am so thankful to have you in my life and by my side through the thick and the thin of it! I am truly blessed to have your humor and optimism in my life to keep things interesting around here. You are an amazing Daddy and husband and I am so glad to be sealed to you for time and all eternity. Love you forever my hubby.

Family Pics

Over the Christmas break we took some family pics together and it was quite the ordeal let me tell ya!

Mama and Papa Lamb

We each got our pic taken with them, kinda like they were Santa Claus! :)

This is pretty much the one and only pic Jack smiled in, he was not having the picture taking business!

The Boise Christmas Extravaganza!

*Don't make fun of me too much it only took me like 2 months to finally get these posted... i know, I am pathetic!

Lamb Family Christmas

We went to my family's house this year for Christmas and had some great times as always!

One of the nights up there I went to this Jazz cafe place called the "Blue Door" to have a little girl time with my Momma and my sis Mal.

They had people performing jazz numbers while you eat and I'm not a huge jazz fan but they had some awesome jazz virtuosos that were around 13 and 14 yrs old but were performing like professionals. It was quite amazing.

Birthday Dinner Out!

We went out to dinner for Mallorie (25th) and Chad's Birthday (26th) to Red Robin and it was quite a treat!

Grandpa Lamb and Ellie.

My sweet little Asian family. Ha ha ;)

My normal husband...............................................My only semi-normal hubby. Ha ha I love you Chad!

Jack gettin tired and snuggly.

Enjoyin' their birthday sundaes. Poor little Dec. birthday buddies, they are good sports about it though!

Christmas Morning!

So excited for what Santa left in their stockings. Starting early on the sugar rush.

Showing off his awesome dinosaurs he got or " monsters" as he calls them.

He had to hold them all at once of course.

Ella had the most hilarious faces and expressions as she went through the present opening charade! She was so cute and SUPER excited about everything she got which made it really fun to watch. (in these pics she was opening a magic wand I made her and she would say things like, "oh this is my favorite!" while practically hyperventilating!-so cute and funny)

Some of the siblings showing off their Christmas goods.

The Dadder and the bud playing with cars. Ella-bella on cloud nine.

Sheer joy at the gift of a new dress up princess dress!

Christmas is just so much more fun when you have little kids to watch get so utterly excited about everything.

The Dadder and the Momma so blessed with such a wonderful and generous family and our sweet amazing children we truly couldn't ask for more. Other than maybe being able to have a teleporter so we could spend half of Christmas with Chad's family as well :)

Jack Jack was so excited to get his race cars, he played with them for a whole five minutes. Ha ha

"It's what I always wanted!!!!" Direct quote, made us laugh.

I love Christmastime, spending time with family and remembering its true meaning: Christ's birth. On Christmas Eve, my mom and dad put on a devotional about Christ's birth and life. It was great to hear the family's testimony of the Savior. I am so grateful for my parents example/testimonies that have helped in developing my own testimony of the Gospel and of Jesus Christ. Hopefully some day I can be even half of the kind of parent they have been to me. Thanks again for everything, Mom and Dad. Love you always!

Our Totally Terrific Two Year Old!

Our little Jack-jack turned 2 on January 15th and we had quite the fun day with the bud! First off, our friends, Scott & Melinda Page invited us to go to her parents house and go on a sleigh ride!

Such a cute little puff-ball.

It was completely awesome, Melinda's dad Dean was kind enough to give us a sweet ride throughout the land around their property and the surrounding area which was really pretty and serene with all the bunches of snow we had at the time we even got to see a bunch of fresh moose tracks (probably lucky no actual moose though, you never know with those crazy moosen). Jack thought it was one of the coolest things ever cause him and Ella got to sit up front in the coach with Dean and he got to "drive" the horsies by holding the reins to these humongous Percheron horses which I guess each weigh around 2,000 pounds! We were just amazed at how big and strong they were.

Good ole Scott and Melinda showin' us the ropes of sleigh riding.

The family all bundled up and loving the actually quite nice weather for Rexburg that day. It was all misty/foggy which gave the foresty area a cool ambiance and kept it from being super cold.

Here's our awesome sleigh driver/ fun coordinator Dean Kunz and his horses Dick and Homer.

Probably one of the cutest couples ever!

After the sleigh ride on the big sleigh that can fit a whole ton of people, Dean hooked up a horse to this bad boy and let us have our very own "one horse open sleigh" ride.

The sweetest little Ella-bear you ever did see.

Our little rascals.

After we rode in the one horse sleigh they put Jack on top of the horse cause he really wanted to "wide a horsey" and you could not wipe the smile off that little man's face.

Actually he was pretty ticked when we took him off... sad day.

Just when we thought the day couldn't get any better Dean pulled out the snowmobiles and let us take a little drive around the property with the kids! Almost too good to be true right?

We had such a great time both the kids were in tears when we told them we had to leave to go take a nap, a definite double whammy bummer for kids.

Later that night we had family come over to have a little party for J. Here's aunt Didi with her daughters Cazzy and new little baby Harper born at the end of Nov

My cousin Alicia and her hubby Drew (or what my daughter calls him "Screw") came with their sweet little baby girl Lila.

Mommy and the super hyper sibling to the birthday boy- not such a fun time for her...she actually did pretty well considering but it was kind of a struggle at times for her to realize she would not be getting presents or the main spotlight. The good thing was the constant reminder of her up and coming birthday in the near future. She has a pretty big wish list now of what she "hopefully" will get come April. :)

ehhh?

Adorable.

Chad giving Jason a hard time as usual... good thing Jason is a good sport about it or I think he would have decked him by now.

My sweet sis Mallorie snuggling the birthday bug.

The requested football cake. Which ended up being pretty easy and cute. I just set up cupcakes in a football shape and frosted them all together and it turned out pretty well.

So here is the picture sequence of us singing happy birthday to jack... (He's really excited at first....)

time to blow out candles...

keeps trying to get closer... not quite sure how to blow them out quite right

goes for the big pull in toward his face thinking he's finally got good leverage for blowing only to find out he was practically eating the flame which equaled...

pain and fear of his cupcake! Poor buddy!

I ended up just helping him blow it out and then he was ok.

Happy yet a little teary-eyed birthday boy!

My talented husband.

Diggin in and loving it.

Happy little sugar-charged Caz.

Then it was time for presents! He was so cute and excited each time, he was super spoiled by everyone! It was so incredibly nice of everybody!

He's having a super intense business call on his new power ranger cell phone.

Jack got this super cute Curious George Jack in the box that he loved and feared all at the same time. So funny.

Another toy with quite the surprise was this Toy Story "Rex" stuffed animal that at first Jack was really interested in but then Drew showed him all his capabilities by squeezing Rex's tummy and out comes this really funny sounding "Roar". Jack was totally freaked out by it but eventually got over it and was willing to touch him again. It was quite humorous to watch though.

I am so grateful for this little boy! He brings such joy to my life with all of the new things he discovers each day and helps me remember to be grateful for. He loves loves loves, cars, trucks, airplanes, trains (Thomas in particular of course) and dinosaurs. He constantly keeps me on my toes with little comments like, " Mom, your hair cute." Or "Momma I love you sooooooo much!" He is my snuggle bug and my "Momma's boy". He amazes me with how strong and big he is. He makes me laugh a lot. I love when he gets super close to my face to tell me something he finds really important. And he just keeps moving in closer and repeating what he was saying until I acknowledge what he has to say-so adorable. He truly just makes my heart melt and it has been a sad realization for me that my little baby boy is no longer much of a baby anymore, instead he's a very intelligent and independent little toddler. I am truly so grateful Heavenly Father sent him to me, he is such a great blessing in my life, I love you Jackson Louis.
