Happy Father's Day!

I know this post is a "little" late in coming but for some reason blogger on my computer hasn't been allowing me to add pictures...if anybody has had this problem with a Mac please send advice! It takes me like 10 tries before it will let me add one picture! So any who I had started this post a lot earlier and now finally i was able to get all the pictures I wanted on it!

I just wanted to send a shout out to my wonderful husband of 3 and 1/2 years! He is such an amazing hubby and such a wonderful father! Our kids absolutely adore him and truly "shout for joy" when he comes home from work! He is such a great help to me with the kids and I can tell he really loves being a father. I am so grateful for him and his example to me. I am also so thankful for the priesthood that he holds worthily and for his testimony that he has for the gospel. He is such a hard worker and a determined and motivated person! I am so glad that I get to be married to him for time and eternity. I truly couldn't ask for better! I love you hunny!

Dancing with Ella-bella.

Having a good time as usual with Daddy!

I also couldn't go without saying how amazing my own father is to me! He is one of my heroes! I truly look up to him and his unconditional kindness and generosity that he shows everyone! He has always been such an example to me of positivity/hard work/making people laugh and so much more. He is such a kindhearted person and a sweet Grandpa to my kids. Ella calls both her grandpas "Papa", it's so darn cute!

I also wanted to send a shout out to my Father in law as well! he has taken me in as one of his own and has always been so kind to me. He has been an excellent Father to my husband and has raised him well. He is a lot like my dad in that he has a great sense of humor and is great at making people laugh! I love that about him! He also is a great example of being a hard worker and he is quite the Jack of all trades, I am amazed at what he has done and is able to do, (if only Chad had picked up some of those skills, :) j/k he's starting to become more of a Mr. Fix-it around here lately!)

That's my girl!

Some funny stories for ya'll...
So the other night Chad and I were putting the wee babies down to beddy-by doing the usual routine- Chad was reading Ella a book while I was feeding Jack. Ella was sitting on Chad's lap while he was reading to her... and all of the sudden Chad "tooted" (that's what we're trying to call it in front of Ella :) I didn't really pay any attention to it since it's a pretty usual occurrence :) but all of the sudden Ella jumps up out of Chad's lap exclaiming, " Daddy potty? daddy potty? Change your diaper?" She was truly serious and was literally worried about Chad and getting his diaper changed! It must have been a pretty stinky one cause she didn't want to sit back on his lap for awhile! She really wanted him to get his diaper changed! Haha we were rolling!

Today I was at good ol' Wal-mart, I was unloading the kids from the car and trying to load them into a cart from the cart return area(whatever it's called)- where you are supposed to return them when you are outside...anywho on the side bars that house the carts there is this plastic yellow encasing i think it's there for reflective purposes for night time so you don't run into it with your car...any ways while i am putting jack's carseat into the cart Ella was standing next to me. I look down to pick her up to put her in the cart next and to my surprise she is licking the yellow encasing on the bar (which was totally dirty by the way). In shock I asked her, " Ella WHAT are you doing?" She answered me, " Cheese, Mama, Cheese!" So i guess she thought she might get a yummy snack from the cart return thing if she just licked it. I couldn't help laughing even though I was totally grossed out thinking what kind of germs were on that thing!

These are the bars I am talking about if anyone was confused.

Happy Graduation Dallon!

A couple of weeks ago we went to Kemmerer to see Chad's brother, Dallon graduate from highschool!

Ella loves her uncle Dal and likes to be his little shadow.

Walking down the aisle at graduation.

Of course Jack could only take so much of the graduation and he was out! I don't blame him...hehe J/k it wasn't too bad! It was fun to see our Dal pal go through that good ol' right of passage!

Good ol' family shot at the Henkel home.

Aunt Didi holding little jack. Don't be alarmed by "Gollum" in the background, she's actually pretty friendly! (haha j/k Ang, but seriously that is a freaky face!)

Another shot of the two without the background character!

All the family together!

Aww me and the hub!

Being really serious as usual.

My sweet Ella-belle cheesin' it up for the camera!

Jack Jack doing, "The Rock" face!

Just can't help letting out a smile though!

We love ya and are really proud of you Dal! We're happy we were able to be there for your graduation! You're awesome!

Tinkerbell

The other day Ella was "hiding" in our pantry closet, which is a new found love of hers and she was jabbering on and on. As I began to listen to what she was saying I caught this...

"TINKERBELL, TINKERBELL, Where are you? Come out Tinkerbell (pause) I won't eat you."

The things my little girl will think up! Such an imagination. I think Tinkerbell is Ella's imaginary friend. She has been talking to her or about her a lot lately and she always want to watch Peter Pan. She'll always mimic the part where Peter Pan is looking for Tink after the bomb goes off and he keeps calling out for Tinkerbell. She cracks me up!

Memorial Day Weekend in Boise

We had a fun weekend in Boise for Memorial Day. We spent a lot of time relaxing, barbecuing and playing at parks. It was great to visit with all of them.

My brother is so sweet. He always has one of our kids in his arms toting them around and doting on them. He's a great uncle.

Ella wanted me to take a picture of her, she kept getting up REAL close to the camera and saying, "Cheese!"

Aww Sibling love!

And of course Jackson decided to take a catnap.

One of the parks we went to was called Anne Morrison park where they have this big fountain that sprays up pretty high into the air. Another cool part about the park is that the Boise river runs through it. It was such a nice day with great weather and yummy food and fun family.

Chubbily happy being held!

Chillin like a villan.

Trying to be like daddy.

Looking Asian as usual.

On the drive home Ella decided it was a good idea to dump out all the crumbs from the Chex Mix all over herself.

Looking so pleased with her nice little mess. You can't see it that well from the pictures but it was mashed into her seat and the belts, stuck to her pants and shirt everywhere!

Bugs...

http://secure.smilebox.com/templates/14599/templateIcon.jpg

The other day Ella was sitting by this plant we have in our house and she started looking into the pot that it's in and to her dismay she saw a teeny little bug in it. She started to exclaim, " Oh Oh Bug, BUG, BUG! I scared I scared Mama!" I told her, "Don't be scared Ella it's just a little bug. It's not scary." Then she turned back to look at the bug and said, " Hey Bug hey! What are you doing here? I yike you. I kiss you. Hug? I asked her, "You want to kiss the bug?" Then she got this sad face and looked down and said, " No...I can't...I sick." I couldn't help laughing. It's nice of her to be germ-conscious with the bugs. i bet they appreciate that. :-)

Photo Shoot!

The process of getting one sort-of good photo of my two monkeys!

I just thought it was funny to show what really goes into taking a picture with a slow point and shoot camera and two wiggly kids. I'm sure all of you can relate!

I finally just gave up on trying to get them both in a photo with me! Ella's going through a stage of not wanting me to take pictures of her anymore, so it's definitely a major effort to get her to stay still long enough to take a picture of her!

Sibling love.

New found love of his tongue.

Being silly.

He just discovered he has a tongue and can't help sticking it out all the time!

Just the usual going out outfit!

My adorable little bug!

Not so sure about big sister's show of affection.

Eating one of her favorites...berries! Thanks again Grandma Gigi!

Aww how can you say no to that face.

My sweet snuggle buddies catching some ZZZZs.
